The Carbon Control Software Administration Tool allows system administrators to both configure and administer Carbon Control Software offering:
- Creation and deployment of Carbon Control Software database on network SQL Server 2005, equipped with default classification of machines, policies etc.
- Customisation of the organisation structure by specifying regions, locations, offices, domains, departments, users and computers in a hierarchical structure.
- Remote deployment of Carbon Control Software Power Saving Client monitors on pre-defined set of machines on organisation network.
- Ability to monitor status of Power Saving monitors on the network, including version number and whether the monitor is active or not on a particular machine.
- Definition of enterprise-wide power saving policies
- Ability to specify unique policies for each location, office, domain, department, user or computer
